Magnum Pop Up Store

Magnum South Africa has delighted Joburgers once again with is whimsical pop-up store in Sandton City.

Nelson Mandela Square is the home to the pop-up store this year. I must say it was quite an experiance, one that I would never easily forget.

When you get to the square it is very easy to find the store as there are giant Magnum ice creams with signs directing you to the store. Once there you go through the golden doors and through the line, to find beautifully decorated Magnum ice creams in a display case.

Once you have paid for the option you want you receive a stick to enter the competition and go through to the pleasure maker.

Once there, an array of choices at your disposal.  You can chose 3 different toppings, of which includes Oreos, popping candy, yoghurt drops, brownie crumbs, jelly pieces,  and even chillie pieces.
Once you have chosen the three toppings you can chose your favourite chocolate to cover your bare ice cream. The choices are white, milk and dark chocolate.

Once dipped the toppings go on with a drizzle of your choice and a white chocolate piece with the iconic Magnum M on it finished the gourmet ice cream off.

The only thing that is left to do is enjoy right? Wrong there is a photo booth set up for you to take pictures and then print them using the hash tag #mcollection  or #makemymagnumsa and then simply print.

The furniture was all designed to match the feel of Magnum. Tables in the shape of the stick of the ice cream goes on, and just pure joy everywhere you turn.
I recommend everyone do it and there is little more than a week left. Make it count and enjoy the deliousousness that is Magnum.

Thank you Magnum and Mbongiworks

Ratings for the pop up store are:

Fun: 5/5
5/5 because the whole experience is fun form start to end, and the extra pictures at the end just top it all off.

Friendliness of Staff: 4/5
4/5 because there was just a slight glitch which was rectified in seconds when the pleasure maker made out deviously yummy ice creams.

Décor: 5/5
Décor was impeccable, one of the best layout and designs of a shop I have ever seen. The extra touches really made a difference.
