Passionate about giving emerging artists and bands a platform to showcase their talents, Flamingo is excited to announce that jazz band, Soul Warmers, will perform again at Bar 129. The band, which won third place in Flamingo’s Battle of the Bands competition in 2015, will treat audiences to uplifting jazz as well as music from other genres so there will be something to suit all music tastes. They will take to the stage on 24 June, 15 September and 13 October 2017. There is no cost to enjoy their shows.
Soul Warmers started performing live in October 2014 and since then has graced the stage at the numerous venues. Amongst these are the Northern Cape Jazz Foundation’s Youth month celebration in June 2016 which was hosted at Ous Meisies Lodge (Ernestville), and the Human Rights Month Jazz Concert hosted in March 2016 at Ranchville.
