Enjoy an inspiring high tea with Zelda le Grange this Women’s Day

Zelda le Grange, who served former President Nelson Mandela in various capacities for almost 20 years, is set to inspire guests at a motivational yet spirited high tea event at Carnival City Casino this Women’s Day (9 August 2017). The Mad Hatter’s Tea themed tea party is for ladies only and will include sumptuous food, prizes and give aways, and a special guest appearance by Miss South Africa 2017, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters and MC Nomalanga Sitole.

“We are thrilled to confirm that Zelda le Grange will be speaking at our special women’s Day high tea in August. Her name is steeped in South African history as a longstanding personal aide to the late Madiba. She has tremendous stories to tell in a way that inspires hope and changes lives. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear her speak. In true carnival City style, the event will be laced with loads of spirited fun as well. It is a wonderful way to mark Women’s Day with your special friends, colleagues or daughter,” says Michelle Smith, the Marketing Manager at Carnival City.

As an inspirational speaker, La Grange has enthralled audiences throughout South Africa and the world. She uses anecdotes of her experiences through life to convey lessons related to discipline, leadership, respect, integrity, honesty and transparency. With her unique ability to convey her time as Madiba’s personal aide with great nostalgia and honesty, in a way that resonates with South Africans, her talks are both captivating and inspiring.

La Grange served President Mandela in various capacities over 19 years including Executive Personal Assistant, Spokesperson, Manager of Stakeholder relations, Aide-de-camp and Manager of his private office until his death on 5 December 2013. She has been awarded by a number of organisations for her dedication and service to the late Nelson Mandela. In 2014, she published her memoirs entitled GOOD MORNING, MR MANDELA. It is a story of love and hope in which Zelda shares her life and how serving Mandela has had an impact on her life. To date the book was translated into ten languages and is distributed in 15 countries, in addition to all the Commonwealth nations.
