CASTLE LITE UNLOCKS CHANCE THE RAPPER!

Rapper & social activist Chance the Rapper is coming to South Africa for the Castle Lite Unlocks Concert on the 30th of April at the TicketPro Dome in Johannesburg.

Chance will be celebrating his birth month on the Extra Cold Stage with trailblazing
artists such as Frank Casino and Nadia Nakai for the first time ever! This year’s reveal
was not only experienced by the event guests, but was streamed live on Facebook
where the citizens of Extra Cold in 7 countries on the African continent took part in
breaking the ice & Unlocking the artists.

Led by MC’s DJ Warras & Bontle Modiselle, Castle Lite took the announcement to
the next level by engaging with audiences both online on Facebook and offline at
the event in a 3 part production where chainsaws, flamethrowers and even ice picks
were used to break through the Extra Cold cube!

“Castle Lite is known for making the impossible possible, and this time we had to
involve something that was completely unexpected – an ice production like no other.
As we celebrate artists that have pushed boundaries by going independent in their
music delivery, who better than Chance the Rapper to be unlocked in 2018? He as
the leader of the independent school, together with Shane Eagle, Nadia Nakai and
Frank Casino will grace the Extra Cold stage in April and we can’t wait to share this
experience with our audiences!” – Becky Opdyke, Castle Lite Brand Director.
